1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy applies to Morning Star Cleaning Services (Nara Müller-Habig, owner), a Florida cleaning company headquartered at 3334 Concert Ln, Margate, FL 33063. 2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account data: name, email, phone number, and password (hashed) when you create an account.
• Booking data: service address, scheduled date and time, home size, frequency preference, and any access notes you share with us.
• Payment data: processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number, CVV, or full bank account number. Stripe gives us a customer ID, the last four digits of your card, and the brand only.
• Communication data: messages you send by email, SMS, the contact form, or in-app, plus any responses we send back.
• Technical data: IP address, browser, device type, and pages visited. The mobile app additionally reports OS version and crash logs.

3. How we use it

• To schedule, perform, and follow up on your cleaning visits.
• To process payments and issue refunds through Stripe.
• To send transactional messages (booking confirmation, schedule reminders, receipts, recurring visit notices).
• To provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
• To improve service quality and operate the website and mobile app.
• To meet legal, tax, and insurance obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for behavioral advertising on third-party platforms.

4. Who we share data with

• Stripe — payment processing. See stripe.com/privacy.
• Railway — application hosting (United States servers).
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Apple and Google— when you download the app, basic install and crash telemetry under each store’s policies.
• Our cleaning crew — the lead cleaner on your visit sees your address, time, frequency, home size, and any access notes you provide.
• Law enforcement, regulators, or counsel — only when required by law or to defend our legal rights.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies for session authentication on the website. We do not use advertising cookies. We may use first-party analytics to count visits and improve the site — this data is aggregated and not used to track you across the web.

6. Data retention

We keep booking and payment records for seven years to satisfy U.S. tax and consumer protection requirements. We keep account data while your account is active and for 90 days after deletion to handle disputes and refunds. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (California, EEA, UK, others), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or object to certain processing of your personal data. To exercise any right, email contact@morningstarservice.comwith the subject line “Privacy Request” from the email address on your account. We respond within 30 days.

8. Mobile app permissions

The Morning Star mobile app does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, photo library, or push notification permissions in this release. The app only uses an internet connection to talk to our booking and payment APIs.

9. Children

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18.

10. Security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Payments are tokenized by Stripe. The website and app use HTTPS exclusively. No system is perfect — if we ever learn of a breach that affects your data, we will notify you in accordance with Florida and U.S. federal law.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Effective” date at the top will change and material changes will be announced by email to active account holders.
