Terms of Service

Effective May 20, 2026. By using our website, mobile app, or booking a cleaning, you agree to these terms.

1. Who we are

These Terms are an agreement between you and Morning Star Cleaning Services (Nara Müller-Habig, owner), located at 3334 Concert Ln, Margate, FL 33063, United States. The website is https://www.morningstarservice.comand the mobile app is “Morning Star”, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have legal authority to grant access to the property you book a cleaning for. By booking, you confirm you meet these conditions.

3. Booking and quotes

Quotes shown on the website and app are estimates based on home size, frequency, and service type. The final price is set when you confirm the booking and pay through Stripe. We may decline or reschedule a booking at our discretion, for example if the property condition materially differs from what was described, or if access cannot be safely arranged.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. You authorize us to charge the payment method you provide for the booking amount and any recurring visits you schedule. One-time visits are charged at booking. Recurring visits are charged at the cadence you selected (weekly, every two weeks, monthly), starting on the date of your first visit.

5. Cancellations and reschedules

  • Reschedule: free, up to 24 hours before the visit. Same-day changes are at our discretion based on crew availability.
  • Cancellation by you, more than 24 hours before: full refund.
  • Cancellation by you, less than 24 hours before: 50% of the visit price applies as a late-cancel fee.
  • No access on the day: if the crew arrives and cannot enter the property, 100% of the visit price applies.
  • Cancellation by us: if we cannot perform the visit (weather, illness, vehicle failure), we reschedule at no cost or, at your option, refund the full visit.
  • Recurring plans: cancel anytime from the customer dashboard or by emailing contact@morningstarservice.com. Cancellation applies to visits not yet performed.

6. Re-clean guarantee

If you are not satisfied with our work, send a photo of the area to contact@morningstarservice.com within 24 hours of the visit and we will return to re-clean that area at no charge. The re-clean guarantee does not cover items outside our scope (carpet shampooing on a basic visit, biohazards, exterior surfaces) or damage caused by third parties between visits.

7. Scope of service

We perform residential, deep, move-in/out, post-construction, vacation rental, and commercial cleaning as described on the website. We do not provide pest control, biohazard remediation, laundry-only service, exterior power washing, chimney cleaning, or any service that requires specialized licensing we do not hold.

8. Property access and pets

You agree to provide safe and lawful access to the property at the scheduled time. If you have pets, please tell us in the booking notes. We are not responsible for pets that escape due to access we requested. If a pet behaves aggressively, our crew is instructed to leave for their safety; the visit will be treated as a no-access event under Section 5.

9. Damage and breakage

We are licensed and insured. If we damage your property, report it within 48 hours with a photo and we will repair, replace, or reimburse at our option. We are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage, wear, or items requiring repair before cleaning.
  • Items of extraordinary value (over $500) that were not flagged in advance.
  • Damage caused by improper installation or fixtures already in disrepair.
  • Cosmetic disturbance to items that were dirty or unstable.

10. Account and security

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use. We can suspend any account that shows signs of fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms.

11. Mobile app

The mobile app is provided by us and distributed via Apple and Google. Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If you obtained the app from the Apple App Store, the Apple-specific terms in Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also apply.

12. Intellectual property

All website and app content, branding, photography, copy, and code belong to Morning Star Cleaning Services or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute it without written permission.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

The website, app, and services are provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose to the extent permitted by law. The re-clean guarantee in Section 6 is our only quality warranty.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a single cleaning visit will not exceed the price you paid for that visit, except for damage covered by our insurance under Section 9. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

15. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Broward County, Florida.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email to active account holders at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the website, app, or services after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
